Communications and Media

My lifes goal does not consist of grandiose achievements in my field.  I do not aspire to discover innovations that will cause to reform the way the human mind perceives, or analyzes, or even imagines.  Simply, I am in search of endless means to constantly advance my skills, until hopefully, they can be deemed deserving to participate in endeavors that will be beneficial for humanity.  My aspiration to further my academic capabilities through earning an M.A. degree in New York University, particularly in Graphic Communications Management and Technology, will most certainly serve as defining factors for the eventual realization of my dreams.  My bases for stating this, needless to say, stems from the fact that my past and present professional endeavors delved on these specializations, and further enhancing my expertise will greatly aid in my eventual improvement.

My entire professional career has been mostly concerned with the applications of the computer system, specifically in the field of Information Technology.  From my beginnings in October of 2000 as an Academic Computer Trainer in University of South Florida as a Data Entry Specialist II with D.E.R.M. in 2003 as a Secretary in University of Florida in 2005 as an Assistant to the Associate Dean in University of Floridas College of Nursing in 2006 an Administrative Aide I in NYU-CIMS in 2009 to my present career as an MDI Administrator and Department Web Manager in NYU-CIMS, my responsibilities were of such significance that it covered extensive fields such as designing of instructional technologies, database creation and maintenance, and the development of the departments and groups web sites.

Assuredly, under the tutelage of New York University-SCPS where I intend on pursuing my aforementioned M.A. degree, my acquired skills in graphic communications through all of my past endeavors will benefit me with the added management-driven expertise that is inherent within the universitys esteemed curriculum.  I am aware that the transition period to assimilate the high standards of the university within my persona will be minimal, as I have already been influenced, thus possessing, of the high standard that is expected of New York University.  I have learned firsthand how it is to be regarded as among the leaders in my chosen career, specifically because I am among those fortunate to be one of the proud members of the universitys team.
My desire to be among the privileged few to be trained by New York University in the field that I had chosen to specialize, which is in Graphic Communications Management and Technology, stems from my being a firsthand witness to the excellence of the university.  Despite of my present skills, I am aware that fate still finds me lacking of the necessary expertise to be able to contribute greatly for the betterment of the society, in the field where I can be most competitive.   .                                                
While it is true that I do not seek to drastically change the world by introducing spectacular innovations in the field of Graphic Communications, I am nevertheless aware that my entire professional career has been revolving around this specialization.  My realization of a necessity to further my skills in these principles is my response to the apparent global technological reality that very soon, technology will cause Graphics Communications to play an important and prevalent role in our everyday existence, thus, in all aspects of human influence from the mass media, the corporations and industries, the academic institutions, and even in our personal lives.
I wait in anticipation for this reality to finally begin.
